How do you say years from 1001 to 1019?

The same as 2001 to 2019, just changing "two" to "one". I'm not a historian so I never need to say these years. Most people are the same as me. I don't know for sure what a historian would say. But everyone will understand you if you say:

1001 = ten oh one / one thousand (and) one (no "and" in US English")

1009 = ten oh nine / one thousand (and) nine

1010 = ten ten / (the year) one thousand (and) ten

1019 = ten nineteen / one thousand (and) nineteen

And you can also say "the year ..." to be extra clear.
